A term, not a typo

A father doesn't lose his children.
He's stripped of them.

Divorce rape is the act, committed by the state, of taking a man's time with his own children and as much of his money and property as the system can extract on the way out. It is almost never done to women. It is done to men — routinely, predictably, and on purpose.

Entry 1 divorce rape/dɪˈvɔːrs reɪp/
noun
  1. A family court proceeding whose outcome is measured in hours a father loses with his children and dollars he loses from his own labor.
  2. State action, not misfortune — an outcome the system is built to produce, not an accident it occasionally causes.
  3. Something that happens almost exclusively to men.
The mechanism

Custody

Time with his children gets treated as a resource to be divided up, not a relationship to be protected. The starting point is already less than half, and it only moves down from there.

Assets

What he built gets priced, split, and reassigned by people who never earned it — legal fees included, and those are billed to him too, for the privilege of losing.

Who this is for

This site isn't for everyone. It's for men — the ones going through it right now, the ones who already went through it, and the ones who don't yet know it's coming.

Naming names

The doctrine describes the system. The Divorcerapist describes the people who run it — and lets the public name specific names.

This page is a first filing, not a final judgment. The rest of the case is still being built.
