"Divorcerapist" isn't a legal term. It's a name the public keeps reaching for
when a parent, an attorney, or a judge uses the family court system to take
more than any legitimate finding requires — more time, more money, more control.

What it looks like
It's the parent who files for sole custody with nothing behind it. The
attorney who bills both sides into exhaustion because the meter is the
strategy. The account drained the week before the petition. The
restraining order pulled out as a tactic instead of a shield. None of it
shows up as a single crime. All of it adds up to the same result.
